We’re really pleased to announce that committee management system, CMIS, developed by Astech, is now integrated with Public-i. Astech has already revealed this news to its usergroup last week and we’re very pleased that this will result in a number of clients and prospective clients being able to take advantage of full integration between their committee management systems and webcasting. As is customary with these things, we’ve issued a short statement, from Lewis…

Lewis Broad-Asman, head of customer delivery, said: “The news that CMIS is now integrated with Public-i is very welcome. We are aware that this will be a big plus, particularly, for prospective clients.”Integrated document management and webcasting allows for seamless operation, and helping to reduce and duplicate data entry. It also improves client user experience and public engagement.”

Announcing the integration on their website, Conor Byrne-Jones, head of CMIS applications, said: “Astech always welcomes opportunities to partner and integrate with other suppliers of complementary services used by our clients, this way CMIS can deliver an enhanced level of enterprise integration which benefits our customers. In line with this, we are very happy to announce the seamless integration between Public-i’s market-leading webcasting platform and CMIS’s committee management facilities which will make our mutual clients workload lighter and increase public engagement with the democratic process.”
